Gleich mehrere Nachkommen unserer Hengste erlebten am Wochenende einen wahren " Schleifenregen " beim bis M - Dressur ausgeschriebenen Turnier im sächsischen Röhrsdorf bei Dresden!
In der Reitpferdeprüfung erreichte "Jolly Jument" von Jazz Rubin unter ihrer selbst reitenden Züchter- u. Besitzerin Angelika Miethe den dritten Rang mit einer Wertnote von 7.42.
In der Dressurprüfung der Klasse A errang "Dream in Black" von Dr. Jackson mit ihrer Reiter u. Besitzerin Ulrike Bischoff "nur" den zweiten Platz mit einer Wertnote von 7.8 !
Dafür gewannen die beiden die Dressurprüfung der Klasse L auf Trense mit einer Wertnote von 7.6.
Die Siegerschleife in der Dressurpferdeprüfung der Klasse A ging mit deutlichem Abstand an "Douceur". ebenfalls von Dr. Jackson unter ihrer wiederum selbst reitenden Züchter- u. Besitzerin Angelika Miethe mit einer Wertnote von 7.6.
In der nachfolgenden Dressurpferdeprüfung der Klasse L kamen die beiden auf den dritten Platz.
Die Dressurprüfung der Klasse L auf Kandare beendete "Jeremy" von Jazzman unter Matthias Schneider auf dem vierten Rang mit einer Wertnote von 7.4.
Die Siegerehrung der abschließenden Dressurprüfung der Klasse M sah "Jeremy" , von Jazzman unter Matthias Schneider auf dem zweiten Platz mit einer Wertnote von 7.4. Für den Reiter war diese Prüfung ein Doppelsieg, da er mit seinem eigenen Pferd Stratege die Siegerschleife und eine Wertnote von 7.7 von den Richtern erhielt!

Beim internationalen Turnier in Sydney, einem der bedeutensten Australiens, belegten das australisch-oldenburgische Traumpaar Diamantina unter Marree Thomkinson erneut den ersten Platz im Grand Prix.
In der Grand Prix Kür, zwei Tage später landeten die beiden, selbst für den Sieger Heath Ryan unverständlich, knapp geschlagen auf dem zweiten Platz.

Dowsley and Tomkinson Win on Day One of 2012 CDI Sydney

With over 200 horses and 150 riders, no wind and a big blue sky, the first day of the 2012 CDI Sydney was destined to be a beauty! Well before 8am the warm up arenas were full of Small Tour horses preparing for what ended up being a tight battle for the top four positions. There has been a lot of talk prior to this competition about the high calibre of horse and rider combinations. At least half of the 35 strong field had the potential to win the class but in the end it was Australia's Matthew Dowsley who won.
Dowsley rode a stunning test to take first place with a score of 71.342 which is the second highest score for the history of the Sydney CDI (Prix St Georges). Second place went to Kate Taylor-Wheat and her magnificent black gelding by World Magic - together they scored 68.000. Third place went to David Shoobridge from Revelwood Stud on the stallion OO Seven with a score of 67.737. Just behind was Daniella Dierks on the Londonderry gelding, Luxor 118,which is owned by G.K & J Farrell, scoring 67.658.
For the first time, the Sydney CDI held two under 25 Big Tour competitions. Today was the Under 25 years - Intermediate II. It was an all female affair with these riders making the big leap from Small to Big Tour. Combined, these riders would only have a handful of GP tests between them. There was not one point between the top three. Stephanie Spencer on Rambo II came first with a score of 64.158, Jodie Newall on Maxx Jasper came second with 63.789 and third place went to Megan Bryant on Northern Xanthus III with a score of 63.711.
Both the Prix St Georges CDN finished just before lunchtime. The Prix St Georges was won by Matthew Dowsley on Linda and Beau Dowsett's horse Flavio with a score of 67.474. Second place went to Victoria Welch on Brentanus with 65.526 and third went to Judith Clarke on Diablito, scoring 63.289. Judith is also one of Australia's highly respected eventers.
The Grand Prix CDN had 8 combinations competing. First place went to Maree Tomkinson on Rodrigo III, scoring 61.809. Second place went to Bennet Conn on Jaybee Apprentice with a score of 60.340 and third went to Verity Spargo-Shiner on APH Faust with a score of 59.851.
As many of Australia's top Grand Prix riders are in Europe contesting for a place on the 2012 Olympic Team, it made the Grand Prix CDI very interesting as it opened the doors for new horse and rider combinations to secure a Sydney CDI trophy and title. One of the riders, Claire Siedl, dropped a tack box on her foot the day before. As a result she passed the ride of her horse, Rolex, to Queensland rider Nicole Tough. Although Nicole doesn't have a lot of experience in the competition arena at this level and the test wasn't good enough for a place, she still did a great job. It was consistent and relaxed - well done!
Considering most of Australia's top GP riders weren't competing there still were a few rides scoring above the 65% mark. With only a small number of GP tests under their belt, Maree Tomkinson and her exuberant mare Diamantina IV excited the crowd with a test of high energy and strong engagement. This was enough to win the class with a score of 68.936. The very experienced and popular Heath Ryan and his Rubinstein stallion, Regardez Moi, came second scoring 67.277. Third place went to Queensland rider Sheridyn Ashwood on her impressive stallion Prestige who is by Silvano N. Together they scored 66.149. Both Maree and Sheridyn proved that they have the skills and horses to become internationally competitive.
It will be interesting to see how they go in the GP Special and the GP Freestyle. Only time will tell.

Last but certainly not least was the ever popular Grand Prix Competition (CDI). The first horse to get the crowd going was the Friesian stallion, Django of Cacharel, ridden by Jeremy Janjic. Although this combination is not quite at the stage of placing in the top three, the horse does have a Facebook page with 1500 followers - the crowd love him! But by the end of the night, things had changed. Third place went to Tor Van Den Berge on the stallion, Fisherman's Friend. This combination has improved at each competition and still has a lot more to show. Second went to Maree Tomkinson and Diamantina IV. The crowd watched with awe as this amazing moving mare eat up the ground. So what did Maree think of the ride?
"She was beautiful in there. She always stays with me even when she's scared." And to Heath Ryan's surprise, he and his Rubinstein stallion, Regardez Moi, came first. Just before the results came out, Heath's comment on the test was, "Not the best test we've done. He was a bit tight. Maree did really well so there you go." The judges obviously didn't see it that way.

Sensationeller 2.Platz bei 'Horses and Dreams' für CHARLOTT und DONNA.
Startschuss in Hagen. Den ersten Dressurwettbewerb hat Ingrid Klimke mit Dresden Mann für sich entschieden. Der Prix St.Georges war eine Prüfung voller "Big Names", zwei- wie vierbeiniger. Und Platz zwei ging an eine deutsche Nachwuchsreiterin.
Als Hengst war der westfälische Dresemann-Sohn Dresden Mann mitunter wenig auf seine Reiterin konzentriert, war aber dennoch zweimal Sechster bei den Weltmeisterschaften Junger Dressurpferde und Champion in Westfalen. Neuerdings ist der Hormonhaushalt heruntergefahren - "Alfi", wie er im Stall Klimke heißt ist schon etwas länger Wallach und dies war wohl ein "Schnitt in die richtige Richtung". Denn mit der Konzentration kamen die Siege. Jetzt auch in Hagen. Der Rappe ging eine sichere Runde, punktete im starken Schritt, den fliegenden Galoppwechseln und Traversalen. Ein durch und durch gut gerittenes Pferd, das z. B. auch für die Volten in vorbildlicher Stellung und Biegung Achten erhielt.Mit 73, 684 Prozenten setzte sich Klimke an die Spitze eines prominent besetzten Feldes. Zweite wurde Charlott-Marie Schürmann mit der Dr. Jackson-Tochter Donna Jackson mit einer schwungvollen und sehr routinierten Vorstellung (73,026).
Ihr internationales Debüt in der Kleinen Tour, also auf Niveau des Prix St. Georges, gab die dänische Don Schufro-Tochter Uno Donna Unique, einst Weltmeisterin der Jungen Pferde unter dem Dänen Andreas Helgstrand. Jetzt steht die beeindruckende Dunkelfuchsstute im Besitz eines Luxemburger Pharmaunternehmers und wird von dem Schweden Patrik Kittel geritten. 72,061 Prozent erzielte das Paar, die höchsten Noten gab es für Trabtraversalen und Verstärkungen in Trab und Galopp. Vierter wurde Isabell Werths Stalljockey Matthias Bouten mit dem Rheinländer Flatley v. Fürst Picolo, der unter Werth Zweiter im Nürnberger Burgpokal 2011 war. Bouten sitzt wie gemalt und ritt eine sichere Runde, das Pferd immer in schöner Silhouette (71,228). Seine Chefin wurde mit dem mächtigen Laurenti v. Laurentio Achte (69,430). Der Hüne zeigte sein Potenzial, war aber in der Anlehnung nicht immer konstant.
Erster Grand Prix Sieg für ein Pferd aus unserer Zucht !
Wie viele andere Züchter, so hatten auch wir das Ziel, daß unsere Zuchtprodukte einmal Siegerfohlen werden, daraus dann Jahre später Staatsprämien- oder Elitestuten werden, bzw. Junghengste mit dem Urteil " gekört " die Bahn verlassen, und daraus dann wieder weitere Generationen von sporterfolgreichen Nachkommen entstammen.
All dieses haben wir mit viel Passion zur Zucht mitlerweile erreicht.
Nun kam ein weiterer Meilenstein im Züchterleben hinzu.
Die erst 10-jährige " Diamantina " hat unter ihrer australischen Reiter- u. Besitzerin Marree Thomkinson die ersten Grand Prix Siege eines Zuchtproduktes der Quadriga Pferdehaltung errungen!
Diamantina stammt ab von Diamond Hit aus unserer Oldenburger Elitestute " Cosmopolitan " von Campari/Akzent/Kronprinz xx.
Diamatina trägt selbst den Titel der "1 c Elitestute" des Brilliantringes der Elitestutenschau im Schloßpark zu Rastede.
Sie war hocherfolgreich im Finale des Oldenburger Landeschampionates sowie Finalteilnehmerin des Bundeschampionates. Außerdem zweifache Finalteilnehmerin der Weltmeisterschaft der jungen Dressurpferde in Verden. Seit dem Verkauf vierjährig wird sie von ihrer Reiter - u. Besitzerin Marree Thomkinson hervorragend weiter ausgebildet.
Die Grand Prix Siege für die erst zehnjährige Stute sind der klare Beweis, daß sich hier ein Traumpaar gefunden hat!

P.S.: Übrigens ist Diamantina die Vollschwester zu unserem gekörten, jetzt fünfjährigem " Don Cismo " !

Tomkinson Sets the Bar for the 2012 Australian Equestrian Grand Final Leader Board

A number of Australian based Dressage combinations are one step closer to competing at this year’s Equestrian Grand Final after strong competition at the year’s first qualifier, the CDI-W held at the annual PSI Dressage and Jumping with the Stars (DJWTS) in Werribee, Victoria.
The first of five qualifying events for the Equestrian Grand Final – Dressage, the CDI-W Freestyle saw one of Australia’s most promising combinations, Maree Tomkinson and Diamantina IV take the title as well as top position on the Equestrian Grand Final Dressage leader board.
In her first-ever Grand Prix Freestyle the talented mare was awarded a score of 69.500%.
“I’m just an ordinary rider with an extraordinary horse,” said Tomkinson of the 9-year-old Diamond Hit mare that she owns in partnership with Lyn Sultana. “She is like riding the perfect storm, there is so much power and energy yet she is totally focussed. She is amazing. She just keeps getting better and better. She has enormous grace and power and I know her balance and strength will continue to develop,” added Tomkinson.
Also sharing the spoils were Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi who took home second place in the Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of 66.925% and Tor Van Den Berge and Fisherman’s Friend who rounded out the placings with a score of 66.425%.
All three combinations are now well placed to secure one of fifteen places in the Dressage Grand Final which will be held at Equitana, Melbourne 15-18 November 2012.
Tomkinson will now turn her attention to the Sydney CDI3* where she and Diamantina IV will be looking to consolidate their impressive Grand Prix record of three wins and one second place in as many starts.
Debuting at Grand Prix level earlier this year the pair won the Grand Prix CDN at Boneo Park in January followed by a second place at the CDI3* at Dressage with Altitude last month, and have now added wins in both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle at last weekend’s DJWTS.
Riders will get another chance to qualify for the Equestrian Grand Final – Dressage at Sydney’s CDI3* which will be held from 3-6 May.
The 12 best combinations with the highest percentages after the five qualifiying events will automatically qualify for the Grand Final.
Combinations may compete at multiple qualifiers but only their best result will count. A further three wild-card entries will be awarded by Equestrian Australia ahead of the final.

Tomkinson Grabs the Grand Prix at 2012 CDI-W Werribee
Zum 6. mal fand der diesjährige Freilaufwettbewerb mit Stutbuchaufnahme auf der Anlage des Haupt- und Landgestüts Marbach statt. Vor den in diesem Jahr besonders zahlreich erschienenen Interessenten und Besuchern präsentierten sich die dressur- und springbetonten dreijährigen Pferde und boten einen interessanten und unterhaltsamen Sonntag in der festlich geschmückten Gestütsreithalle.
Der vielversprechende Nachwuchs wurde von den Richtern Lothar Wanner und Paul Suter-Nussbaumer mit der bewährten Methode des offenen und getrennten Richtverfahrens freilaufend nach Gebäude, Gangarten und Gesamteindruck bewertet.
In der zweiten Abteilung siegte der Wallach Jazz Love von Jazz Rubin/Donnerhall mit der Gesamtnote 9,33. Der Wallach erhielt für seinen imposanten Trab die Wertnoten 10,0 und 9,5. Außerdem überzeugte er auch durch seine weiteren beachtlichen Grundgangarten. Der Fuchs stammt aus der Zucht von Josef Helmle aus Ellwangen und befindet sich im Besitz von Nicole Falk aus Giengen.
Die Endnote von 9.33 für den Fuchswallach von Jazz Rubin war die Höchstnote des Freilaufens und bedeutet damit den Gesamtsieg in dieser Veranstaltung.

Im Jahr 2009 in Zöbingen errang er als Fohlen den Reservesieg bei den Hengstfohlen im Lot der mit ca. 250 Fohlen gößten Fohlenschau Süddeutschlands.!
